SOMAnatomics/ Iceland bound
Another great opportunity for me to spread out the word about SOMAnatomics_Human Movement Practice, yet this time it is leaning more
to its artistic personality.
I was accepted to present my work at Reykjavík, Iceland this coming September for the International Symposium on Performance Science (ISPS) exploring the theme Performance, Processes, and Products
to give a workshop on somanatomics movement language where we will explore what will happen if movement expression and sensorimotor connectivity are being used as a medium in public performances, meaning an urban setting, to create literal and metaphorical dialogues between performer and spectator.
Info about the workshop:
Title Thinking bodies in moving spaces: A somatosensory experience that interrupts cognitive automation
